I think 2012 will be a great year for me...and not just in fashion, but overall! I'm a new college graduate :) and this is the first time in a LONG time (decades even, lol) that I wont be a student...until graduate school that is.
For me, being a student for the last 20 years meant casual comfort, no makeup, Victoria's Secret body splashes...backpacks, totes and other function-orientated bags...flats, flip flops, gym shoes and UGGS....and ENDLESS parade of blue jeans, graphic tees, racer back tanks and cardigans. I would like to attribute this apparent lack of style to the fact that up until I went to college, I had attended private school and basically worn different versions of the same uniform my whole life. Naturally when it came time for me to pick out some "real" clothes I needed to be cost effective and so I purchased lots a mix-and-match pieces based around function and comfort. Now that I will be entering the "real" workforce, and hopefully an office setting, I plan on giving my wardrobe a MUCH NEEDED polish.
I made this Polyvore collage to illustrate some of the things I resolve to try in the new year. I also want to find a signature fragrance this year because even though I love my Victoria's Secret PINK Warm& Cozy body splash...I firmly believe that every adult woman needs a ACTUAL perfume to call their own. I have to a roller ball of both Vera Wang Love Struck and BCBG Max Azria, so those are the first two I plan to try.
I hope everyone has a fun NYE and an AWESOME 2012!
Until Next YEAR (whoop, whoop)
P.S..

Congrats on ur new life journey! Maybe u can get inspiration from my blog :)
