Tomorrow is my first day at my new internship! Its with an AWESOME company and I'm SUPER excited!
Even though my interviewer AND the office policy handbook have all assured me that the office is business casual, I'm still going to play it safe with this look (I might even take a blazer). I opted for a crisp white blouse with a cobalt sweater and black straight leg slacks in lieu of a dress/skirt because winter has FINALLY decided to show up in Chicago and its quite cold out; we're expecting mid-40s for next week so I'll try for a dress then. I decided to go with a kitten heel just in case the orientation includes an office tour or some other event that requires a lot of walking. I'm keeping my jewelry and accessories are pretty classic and understated.
OH I almost forgot! That Coach bag? Its my new Madison Large Leather Sophia Satchel that I got for Christmas (yay!) Its the perfect size to carry all the junk stuff I tote around on a regular basis...look out for a What's in YOUR Bag post soon!
You might remember from my fashion resolutions post that I wanted to polish up my wardrobe this year and I plan to use my time at this internship (only about 3 months) to do just that!
