I know haven't posted in a while (BAD blogger!) but my new internship is keeping me busy busy busy lately and so I'm currently trying to figure out a new blogging schedule.
Any who, has anyone else been noticing all of the AWESOME pieces arriving in stores for spring?! Even thought I'm a neutral girl at heart I can't wait to break out of my that shell because I'm really excited about all of the bright colors. As such, I've decided to do a couple of
inspirational aspirational looks for the spring season.
For this look I wanted to really step out there an use as many colors as I could without looking to "rainbow-y". I'm loving this geometric printed wrap dress with the bright green trench (both from Old Navy); the coat has a roll-cuff option making it perfect for transitional weather Chicagoans know all too well. I wanted one more splash of color so I chose the large leather carry-all pouch from American Apparel as well as a pair of funky yellow jewel earrings. With hot pink, bright green and yellow going on up top I decided a nice nude pump was the best shoe option...and of course a nice brushed rose gold tone watch never fails.
(P.S. if you love big bags but want to try your hand at carrying a clutch I HIGHLY suggest the aforementioned one...it comes in a billion colors and its amazing!)
